Across the Universe. Let's go!

Naked nails with Deborah Lippmann Across The Universe.
One of my first very Deborah Lippmann(s), which I bought with Mermaid's Dream and Lara's Theme.

The pictures do not do justice to the polish at all. AT ALL.
It was really gorgeous in the bottle, and it looks even better on the nail.
I had only Across The Universe on my nails, didn't layer her on any polish because I wanted to see how she fares alone.


Note: This is a boyfriend approved nail polish.
My boyfriend likes the nail arts that I occasionally come up with, but he never praises a certain shade of polish.
But this time, it's different.
He said that I should just wear Across The Universe every chance I get and he even wanted to get me 2 extra bottles of her, just because!





The formula was absolute love.
I did not have to fish out any glitter, and everything just applied smoothly.
My only concern was that she was really sheer.
I lost count after the 3rd coat because she was that sheer. (Even though it looks opaque here, there are quite a lot of bald spots when a strong light is shone upon it.)
But it was this sheerness that got me having coats after coats, and all the glitters just layered over each other beautifully.
It was like a jelly sammich consisting of only Across the Universe.

Deborah Lippmann(s) are a rare and difficult find in Singapore, just like Butter London(s).
But I got mine at Luxola when they were having Lara Theme free during Mother's Day :D
Luxola sells DLs and many other cosmetic brands that you can't find at ordinary store fronts.
&they would have frequent discount codes at times, so I'd suggest waiting for them codes if you think DLs are a little too pricey!
